Our rural training centre near Aylesbury in rural Buckinghamshire is the ideal location for scenarios in the great outdoors.

The centre has basic kitchen facilities including a microwave & urn. We also have plates & cutlery available here. Free tea, coffee, water and squash will be available to help yourself to throughout the day.

Unfortunately, the nearest supermarkets & food outlets are in the town centre, which is a short drive away. We therefore recommend that you bring lunch with you each day.

Getting to Aylesbury training centre

We’re located near the village of Quantion, approximately a 15-minute drive from Aylesbury Town Centre.

Driving to the training centre

Free parking is available at the venue, for small-medium size vehicles.

The carpark is located on the left-hand side as you drive onto the estate. Please do not block in any of the ambulance vehicles or park too close to the dustbins.

From the North East & East, come off the M1 at J11a for the A5, then follow the A505 to Leighton Buzzard. Here take the A418 to Aylesbury.

From North London & Essex, come off the M25 at J20 for the A41, then follow it to Aylesbury.

If you’re travelling from the South West, Wales & Hampshire, come off the M4 at J9 for Maidenhead, following the A404 to High Wycombe.

From South London & the South East Coast, come off the M40 at J4 for High Wycombe, following the A4010 to Aylesbury.

Once you’re at Aylesbury, follow the A41 to Waddesdon village and turn right onto Quainton Road from the High Street (signposted with a brown sign for Buckinghamshire Railway Centre). Go straight over the crossroads, over the railway bridge (a hump bridge immediately after a bend to the right), then the site entrance is on your right (look for a brown wooden fence & black signs).

From the North West & West Midlands come off the M40 at J9 for Bicester village. Follow the A41 towards Aylesbury (note: right turn at the shopping outlet to stay on the main road). Turn left off Akeman Road onto Station Road, then left at the crossroads. After you go over the railway bridge (a hump bridge immediately after a bend to the right), the site entrance is on your right (look for a brown wooden fence & black signs).

Travelling by train

Aylesbury Vale Parkway (AVP) is the nearest national rail station to this venue.

Please contact us in advance if you are arriving by train and we will do our best to arrange a lift to and from the venue, as it is too far to walk.

It’s operated by Chiltern Railways. Trains terminate here from London Marylebone via Amersham or High Wycombe. Change at Harrow-on-the-Hill, Chalfont & Latimer or Amersham if you’re using the London Underground Metropolitan line. Change at West Ruislip if you’re using the London Underground Central line.

Ramps are available for train access, and there is step-free access between the platforms & station entrance.

There is a ticket office located here (only open Mon-Sat mornings) and self-service accessible ticket machines.

The waiting room & toilet facilities are only open Monday – Saturday mornings.

There are plenty of hotels, B&Bs and guest houses in the local area.
